Laundry Room, NHS Golden Jubilee
NHS Golden Jubilee in Glasgow stands as Scotland’s sole NHS Board with a national hospital, research institute, innovation centre and conference hotel. This exceptional facility has been undergoing an expansion and refurbishment programme to sustain its current services and support ongoing development.
BMES was pleased to be appointed Main Contractor to provide Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) and full fit-out service for an expanded laundry and linen area in the hospital. We undertook significant alterations to these areas, enhancing their functionality and efficiency and delivering a full fit-out that addressed both structural and aesthetic requirements.
Our services included a full range of M&E Services, plus dilapidations, installing new partitions, flooring and suspended ceilings, and carrying out complete redecoration to ensure the space met the highest healthcare standards. Our team’s meticulous attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the project was completed to the highest standards, supporting the hospital’s operational effectiveness and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
“Having provided services for a number of NHS upgrade and refurbishment projects, including at the NHS Golden Jubilee Hospital, we’re highly knowledgeable about the particular challenges and complexities involved,’ explained Barry Munnoch, Managing Director at BMES. ‘Meticulous forward planning and efficient, skilled work from our experienced team ensured the project ran smoothly and all requirements were met.”
