Shawfield Grid Campus – Plot A

Working in partnership with Heron Bros, BMES delivered a complete Mechanical and Electrical package across the new warehouse, office spaces and external car park areas. The electrical installation included new switchgear, containment, small power, internal and external lighting, streetlighting, fire alarm, VESDA, intruder alarm, CCTV, photovoltaic (PV) systems and lightning protection.

On the mechanical side, BMES installed domestic water services, sanitary ware, drainage, ventilation systems, air conditioning, and incoming water supplies with integrated leak detection and trace heating to ensure system resilience and compliance with modern building standards.

Delivered across a complex and multi-zoned site, the project required close coordination between trades and contractors. BMES worked collaboratively with Heron Bros to overcome logistical and design challenges, maintaining programme requirements and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

The project was completed on time and to a high standard, providing Clyde Gateway with a fully serviced, future-proofed facility ready for occupation and ongoing use.
