Key Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking Electrical Supervisors to join our dedicated and dynamic growing team to contribute to our site operations in central Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to play a key role in shaping the company’s future supervising the electrical site activities for a diverse range of construction projects and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervision & Workforce Management

  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians, apprentices, and labourers
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Provide on-site training and mentorship to junior electricians

2. Electrical Installation & Maintenance

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in line with project specifications
  • Interpret Electrical layout and schematic drawings for installations
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and local building regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise on-site

3. Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all electrical work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and HSE (Health & Safety Executive) guidelines
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety precautions
  • Ensure all team members use proper PPE and follow safe working practices

4. Coordination with Site Management & Other Trades

  • Liaise with site managers, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and avoid conflicts
  • Attend site meetings and report on project progress
  • Communicate any delays or issues to management and propose solutions

5. Quality Control & Inspections

  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical work to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Ensure installations pass inspections by local authorities and regulatory bodies

6. Material & Tool Management

  • Requisition and manage materials, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure all equipment is in good condition and properly maintained
  • Monitor stock levels on site and prevent wastage or shortages

7. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, hours worked, and materials used
  • Complete reports for supervisors and project managers on job progress
  • Ensure test certificates and compliance documentation are properly recorded

8. Testing & Commissioning

  • Oversee testing of electrical systems to ensure they are fully operational
  • Identify and rectify any faults before project handover
  • Ensure all work meets client specifications and industry standards

Qualifications

A recognised electrical apprenticeship together with the following qualifications (not mandatory but beneficial)

  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Testing and Inspection Qualification
  • City and Guilds 2382-22 (or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Course

Requirements

About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Admin Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic growing team to contribute to our business in central Scotland. Key Responsibilities

1. General Administrative Support

  • Assist with day-to-day office tasks, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and telephone calls
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure stationery stock levels are adequate

2. Document Control & Record Keeping

  • Support the management of project documentation, ensuring records are accurate, up-to-date, and properly stored
  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and distributing reports, contracts, and other project-related documents
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company standards, policies, and industry regulations

3. Supporting Project Teams

  • Help compile project-related paperwork, such as RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), permits, and health & safety documents

4. Communication & Coordination

Qualifications

1. Essential Qualifications
NAT 5’s (or equivalent)

  • English
  • Maths

2. Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory but beneficial)

  • Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Business Administration (or equivalent)
  • Construction-related courses (e.g., Level 2 Certificate in Construction and the Built Environment)

3. IT & Software Proficiency

  • Experience with construction management software (COINS, Viewpoint, Causeway) is beneficial

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings
  • Carry out first and second-fix electrical work on construction sites
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Install containment systems such as tray, conduit, trunking, and cable baskets

Requirements

  • Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
