BMES is proud to have been featured in Cable Talk, the magazine of SELECT, Scotland’s leading trade association for the electrical contracting industry.
The article highlights BMES’s recent work on the ambitious Stornoway Deep Water Port project, a £49 million development in the Outer Hebrides.
As the first trade association in the world for the electrical sector, SELECT represents over 1,250 member businesses and is a key voice in the Scottish construction industry. Being included in their publication is a great honour for BMES and a testament to the significance of the Stornoway project, which will support offshore renewables, attract cruise ships and enhance the local economy.
The feature focuses on BMES’s role in delivering the mechanical and electrical (M&E) package, including the installation of an underground water system for cruise ships and the design of critical electrical systems like switchgear, lighting, CCTV, and fibre-optic cables for energy monitoring.
This recognition from SELECT highlights the innovative and high-quality work that BMES is delivering in major projects across Scotland.
